Guide
Payment links and provider safety
A personal payment link opens a provider’s own screen to send money to a specific account. The provider — not PayPlea — handles the transfer and its rules.

Personal transfers and protection
Most providers treat sending money to a person differently from paying for goods. Personal transfers often have little or no purchase protection. Read each provider’s terms.
Checks that matter
- The recipient name in the provider screen.
- The currency and fees.
- Whether you are logged in to the genuine provider app.
See the payment links comparison table.
Safety box
Only send money you are comfortable giving. Check the recipient name shown by the provider, never pay with gift cards or crypto at someone’s request, and remember that many personal transfers cannot be reversed. PayPlea cannot recover money sent with an external provider.
